Write Only offers a unique approach to creative writing, emphasizing the act of writing over extensive editing. This application allows users to immerse themselves in the writing process, resembling the experience of using a typewriter, where words seamlessly flow from the fingertips.

All content generated within the app is permanently recorded and saved as a PDF file. This ensures that every detail, including font size, style, and color, remains unchanged regardless of when or where it is accessed. Users can be assured that their original work is preserved in its intended format.

The design features a fixed cursor positioned just above the keyboard, which enhances visibility and minimizes typing errors by allowing writers to maintain focus on both the text and their fingers.

Users can initiate typing at any desired point on the page by simply tapping, with the flexibility to adjust margins easily for aligned text layouts. This functionality promotes a straightforward writing experience.

An accessory keybar is included to provide quick access to frequently used punctuation marks, such as apostrophes and semicolons, which are otherwise cumbersome to find on iOS's default keyboard.

Write Only is particularly effective for drafting initial versions of various forms of writing—including poetry, diaries, or journals. The preserved aspects of the text can evoke memories of the moments in which they were created when revisited years later.
